The Graphic Designer’s primary responsibility will be the design of Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) campaigns and the delivery of campaign assets across multiple platforms – including, but not limited to email, social media, blogs, online and point of purchase (POS) locations. Secondary responsibilities may include photo editing and design of POS collateral – signage, product tags, etc.
Provided the candidate has the accordant skills (or willingness to learn), has an interest to advance, and if Furbish has the need, the Graphic Designer’s role could expand in time and scope to encompass any of the following: Web design and HTML/CSS coding, product design and packaging, environmental graphics, app development, digital marketing strategy, content creation, copy writing and photography.
This position would be perfect for a self-motivated designer who has an interest in interior design, textile and pattern design, luxury home goods, consumer-facing marketing and data-responsive design strategy, the influence of social media on purchasing decisions, and the future of online retail. This job would also be ideal for someone who enjoys an open and energetic atmosphere, works well with a tight-knit team of collaborators, and who definitely isn’t afraid to use pink.
A remote employment arrangement is negotiable for the right candidate.Skills & Abilities:

- Confident using template-based online platforms such as MailChimp and Shopify.
- Attention to detail is essential – especially in relation to proof-reading, spelling and punctuation.
- Strong typographic sensibility.
- Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS is a plus but not required.
