From the artist: 'All of my work focuses on control - I have observed the stark contrast of my father’s awareness of his declining penmanship due to Parkinson’s Disease with my young daughter’s oblivion to her lack of control. I try to emulate the intentionality of his tiny marks with the freeness of her large chaotic scribbles into my abstract work.'
